DESCRIPTION AND APPLICATIONS:

A general purpose, medium coated, all position rutile type electrode suitable for general fabrication, structural and maintenance work in mild steel. Electrodes having an easy arc strike low spatters goods deslagging and finely repelled weld finish. Rajweld-6013 / Mahindra is suitable for steel furniture’s, wagon building, storage tanks, auto bodies, fabrications of chimneys and building etc.

PRECAUTIONS::

  • Use dry electrodes. Electrodes slightly affected by moisture should be carefully dried at temp 150oC before use.
  • Maintain short arc and employ welding currents within the range recommended. Welding with excessive current results in increased spatter, undercut and uneven slag covering. Furthermore it adversely effect the quality of weld metal.
  • Remove oil, grease dust and rust from parent metal.
